1. Title of the project: Sexual and Reproductive Health of Adolescents and Young People in the ECOWAS Region

5. Objectives of the project:

   Main objective:

• To contribute to improving the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents and young people in ECOWAS countries by increasing the availability, accessibility and utilization of contraceptives and quality sexual and reproductive health services, including the adoption of positive behavioral changes.

  Specific objectives:

• Increase availability of contraceptives in the ECOWAS region.
• Improve access to quality Sexual and Reproductive Health services tailored to the needs of adolescents and young people.
• Provide technical and financial support to Youth Organizations and CSOs involved in HIV/AIDS, STI, Communication for Behavioral Change and Social Development and Operational Research in the identified countries.
• Strengthen the institutional capacity of WAHO.
• Evaluate and capitalize on the Reproductive Health/SRHAY interventions to be carried in this project..

• Adolescents and young people in the ECOWAS region.

• A1 : Enhancing the policy, legal and institutional environment for SRHAY/FP.
• A2 : Strengthening the availability of contraceptives in the ECOWAS region.
• A3 : Creation of FP Demand for Adolescents and Young People in the beneficiary countries.
• A4 : Strengthening the institutional capacity of WAHO preparedness.
• A5 : Monitoring and evaluation of interventions & capitalization.
