Director General of WAHO and inform him about the upcoming annual staff retreat of the Agency to be held in Bobo-Dioulasso. The Director General, Dr Xavier CRESPIN, expressed appreciation for the attention the CYSD gave to his institution and expressed the wish that the retreat of the CYSD staff retreat would run smoothly.
Besides the Director Francis Chuks Njoaguani, the delegation comprised Mr Djibril Badji, Sports Programme Officer, Mrs Anna Mar, ECOWAS Volunteers Programme Coordinator, Mr Gustave Neya, Youth Programme Officer and Mrs Aminata DIALLO, Communications Officer of the Centre.
Based in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, the Centre for Youth and Sports Development is one of the ECOWAS agencies, which implements the activities under the policies and strategic action plans. It also implements the vision of ECOWAS in the field of youth and sports, including volunteering. The objective of the CYSD is to develop, coordinate, monitor and implement youth and sports programmes in the ECOWAS region.
