As part of his mission in The Gambia, the DG WAHO paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency President Adama Barrow. Discussions centred around how to strengthen the existing collaboration between WAHO as the regional health institution and the member states. H.E Président Barrow thanked DG WAHO for his vision and leadership in the accomplishment of key results in the area of health system strengthening in the Ecowas region. The DG WAHO also congratulate His Excellency, The President of The Gambia for the tremendous improvement of the overhaul health achievement that is already positively impacting the health indicators of the people of The Gambia.
